In the time since we started Bloke Vote the world has changed. Nine years ago the iphone had a headphone jack, Corona was just a beer that made us feel like we were on holidays and the Swans won the AFL Grand Final. A simpler time for blokes, when James Squires was still considered a craft beer. Blokes are no longer governed by the stereotypes of the past. These days you’ll find blokes on the job site, on the ward, the office, lost in Bunnings or wherever there’s work to be done. The modern bloke isn’t a “Sensitive New Age Guy” (SNAG) he’s a bloke, just newer. 

So you can get to know these new blokes, we thought we’d re-introduce you to Bloke Vote.

Bloke Vote is  Australia's only dedicated “blue-collar-bloke” panel, created in 2012 after increasing demand to tap into the blue collar dollar. Our research-only panel specialises in understanding behaviour and identifying trends in the Trades, DIY and other “Bloke” related industries. Blokes are an enigmatic bunch, with a diverse range of interests. From the tradie who spends his afternoons checking the surf, to the office hero who spends nights planning his next DIY project, we know blokes.

Our focus is to improve the lives of Blokes, by creating a link between them and the brands they love, for mutual benefit. We do this by creating a fun environment where blokes get to see, test, try and answer questions on stuff they love or, maybe haven’t even seen yet! We then ensure the valuable insights are captured and communicated back to brands, so blokes get what they want!

We know Blokes require different techniques and approaches, so we meet them where they’re at. Online through the blokes only research panel of over 45,000 “hard to reach” DIY blokes and tradies. In-situ with “beer garden” and “back-of-ute sessions” or with tradies and DIY video uploads. On-site Crew, made up of mostly tradies, who have research training to get a quick gauge on concepts and ideas.
